The Glow Guard LED puck takes 2 x CR1620 Lithium Watch Batteries. Although the batteries are easy to replace, doing so will take away from the water resistance of the light. We will soon have replacement pucks available for $3.50 including shipping which is actually much cheaper than what it would be to buy 2 replacement CR1620 batteries on their own from a store.
